Well BB is the last place I would go. Just type in I hate
Best Buy in google and see what comes up.
There are just so many better places. Like MicroCenter, Fry's, CompUSA and online vendors like Newegg.com

I use a UK company called Bolton PC.

I've been using them for over 8 months now and they are so cool! They have three sites, one is http://www.boltonpc.co.uk which sells hardware and other electronic items like DVD players.

Their computer site is http://www.bolton-computers.co.uk, which sells pcs ane base units you can cusomise online.

Finally, they have a support board called The Recycle Bin, how cool is that ? The address is http://boltoncomputers.proboards7.com Pop in and say hello, tell em Jools told ya Happy

Ok, outy !

Lately

Fry's has gotten way too much of my $$, but I have been pleased with their customer service, experience and the way they handle refunds. Best Buy runs off as many potential buyers as they sell because of their over zealous attitude about their extended warranty.

I assume you mean they try to push extended warranty?

Yes I hate it when they push warranties. Especially those who deal with you face to face and don't want to take no as an answer.

I tend to stay away from a number of high street retailers who do this.

Mobile phone shops tend to be the worst for it in the UK, they even try scare tactics like "Could cost you

WHAT???

Best Buy???
I hate the people who work there. They don't know a thing about computers and they seem more intent on taking your money. Also, they hardly give you any good advice.

You should try Circuit City. Free GOOD computer advice.

they arent that bad

bestbuy workers in the computer department are very friendly and they do know what they are talking about. i remember standing next to one guy helping a customer pick out a new computer, of course him showing the most expensive computer there, sony, told them about how the cpu was liquid cooled by liquid nitrogen. i find this hard to believe but you have to give them some credit.

circuit city, i love their stores, open, not to loud like bestbuy, but i dont shop there too much.

frys, i love frys, superb customer service and the refunds are a plus. but they post lower prices on their website and when i go to the store, it turns out its $20 more.

Well, the nearest Best Buy store I live to is in Dickson City, and most of the people there are idiots to begin with...

Depends on location and training.
