To do a system restore without having system restore. This is advanced system recovery and there are no click by click instructions because your system is different from everyone else's. Sorry but that's why we have to learn where the backup copies of the files in question are, backup what we are about to replace and then test the result.

Sometimes you have to cave and reinstall this OS.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
