Fatal Exception

May 27, 2006 12:06AM PDT

Hi, you need to check the Device Manager to see which hardware item is causing the problem. Go to Start Menu<Settings<Control Panel< System. Select the Device Manager tab and look for an exclamation mark in a yellow circle. Or you may see an X in a red circle, it means the item has been disabled. That is your problem hardware item. It would be best to replace the item as soon as possible, to avoid more serious problems. Possibly a faulty video card, sound card or a network adapter card. If you are not experienced with replacing computer hardware, have a licenced technician do the work for you. It could also be a faulty driver, when you boot up the computer press repeatedly F8 to open the Boot Menu Select Step by Step Confirmation, this will manually load each driver if there is a problem, the system will halt at the error.
