While last time it was Vista the fix was to not use the CD that came with the printer but to use the drivers from hp.com for Windows 7.
Hello I brought an hp desktop from best buy with windows 7 home premium 64.It cam with everything including an hp deskjet F4480.When I try to install the printer a fatal error message could not access network location %APPDATA%\ comes up .I have restarted the computer 6 times and try again.I have contacted hp about the problem I went though everything they told me to do step by step and it has not still fix the problem. Now I can not install any new programs without an error message coming up similar to when I try to install the printer.I did find a similar problem people had with windows vista. There is a download to correct it but,it does not work with 7.I hope someone can help resolve it.Should I just have geek squad come look at the computer since,I did brought it from best buy.I'm going to contact them tomorrow hoping they can help.Because,I'm sure other people are having the same problem. If someone out there having similar problems or can help on this issue. Please, respond back.Thank you
