Fashion photographer has ex girlfriend arrested by immigra

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- A well-known Mexican soap opera star, Fernanda Romero, and her American husband face federal charges of entering a sham marriage so she could get legal residency in the United States.

The government said the fake marriage was exposed when a jilted boyfriend, fashion photographer Markus Klinko, called the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

I, in no way condone her illegal actions if it is substantiated... but Really ??? Your girl friend dumps you and you call immigration to get her deported ? One wonders if the jilted boyfriend can be charged with any crimes for knowingly protecting her secret for all the time he dated her, and didn't turn her in?

".... no fury like a woman scorned" now is genderless

No doubt she is an opportunist. If there was any publicity re: her fake marriage at the time, they began living together, he either knew the marriage was a fake, or didn't care if it was genuine. As he probably was quite pleased with their cohabitation, he could overlook knowing of her illegal status.

I would think she has a manager who should have looked after her status better. She apparently was cognizant she was illegal, but it appears she could have sought a green card or some other avenue than marriage. But I suspect her career took precedence over everything else.

Another empty-headed beauty who fell prey to an empty-headed photographer, who, I suspect would "make her a star!"

Aiding and abetting would certainly

seem to apply to her ex actions, until he was jilted.
