Clarification Fantom Drive problem

I have had this drive and have been working with it for a few years. When i tried to use it one day my computer would not identify it as being a drive. When i went to my control panel there was a (initio combo device ) there.
My operating systen is win 7

That helps a little.

Since it worked before it's possible it's format has gone corrupt.

Be sure to try it on another PC first before you wipe it clean and restore from backups.
