Question

Fans go very fast even after cleaning.

Jul 1, 2019 12:36PM PDT

I was playing late into the night yesterday and it was fine, but when i woke, the pc fans were extremely loud, so i cleaned them and they were still loud. i went into the bios and it said the fans were at 750000 rpm which is the highest the bios went to, and that the pc temps were fine. when i start it up, there is 2 red blinks from the dram and i get the normal beep.

Laptop or Desktop?
Jul 2, 2019 10:14AM PDT

You've given us little information about the actual computer. Make and model, age of the machine, operating system used, etc. If it's an older laptop and you only cleaned the inlets, then overheating could still be a problem. With either a laptop of desktop, make sure to open the case and use compressed air to blow out the dust from around the processor, heatsink, power supply and all vents and fans.

Hope this helps and let us know more.
