I see this happen when folk install another OS or tinker/remove/alter the stock apps. If it's the stock OS and apps, my bet is the laptop needs repair.
Hello, please help me. A HP Probook 4530s one day on a startup just started running at full speed. The computer is loud from the beginning so it has a HPfuncontrol installed working at Smart mode. Now it says it is working on the highest (255) speed in Smart mode. When I change it to BIOS mode inside the program, it slows down, turns down and up, every 2 secs. The same happens when changing to Manual mode in lower speed. Desactivating or deinstalling the program results the highest speed and loud work of the fan back. I have searched for the fan options in bios, but there isn't any. One day it was working correctly, next time this started.
