by Dbj-uk / August 21, 2009 12:57 AM PDT

my pc specs:
Case - Antec 900
Processor - AMD AM2 X2 5000+ (2x 2.6MHz)
Processor Cooler - Gigabyte Pro Lite
Motherboard - Asus M2N SLI Deluxe (green edition)
RAM - 3GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 PCR6400
Graphics Card - XFX GTX260 XT (xtreme edition)
Sound Card - Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2
PSU - CoolerMaster 650W
Hard Drive - 2 X 320GB
Optical Drive - Samsung DVD-R +/- Litescribe
Operating System - vista ultimate 32bit
Monitor - LG 20.1" L204WS widescreen

HERES THE PROBLEM:
when i extract something big it tends to just turn off, or if i leave the pc on for about 12hours it turns off. Before i had the same problem while playing counterstrike 1.6 (gaming) i suspected it was my cpu(temp:82-5C) so i turn the fan to the max(current temp:64-7C) then it didnt happen anymore. im just wondering isit really my cpu overheating? or would it be my psu having not enough power? if its my cpu what should i do? my cpu fan is quite decent (at least i think it is).

1. Put heatsink compound on the CPU and button down the heatsink+fan again.
2. Leave the cover off.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
