Question

Fan connections to motherboard and PSU

Mar 29, 2018 9:32PM PDT

I have a ASUS PRIME Z370-P motherboard and Corsair 300R tower case.

The motherboard has these connections:

CPU_FAN
AIO_PUMP
CHA_FAN1
CHA_FAN2

I am planning to remove Corsair 300R's original front fan and install two Corsair AF140 blue LED fans in the front. Will that work? See below:

CPU_FAN - will be connected to Noctua NH-U14S cpu cooler with fan
AIO_PUMP - not used
CHA_FAN1 - upper front Corsair AF140 LED fan
CHA_FAN2 - lower front Corsair AF140 LED fan

Back (exhaust) fan - can I connect it to PSU molex?

I understand that the motherboard BIOS will monitor and control CPU's cooling fan. It will also monitor/control two front fans.

Will that work? Let me know and thanks!
