Gentlemen and ladies, I need as much help as I can get from anyone. Let me give you the scenario.
I am putting together my family tree. I currently have a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet(three layout sheets)with my family tree laid out in the spreadsheets (still in progress). I have the following softwares: WebEasy 7 Pro, Magix Website Maker, and Family Tree Heritage.
My goal is to finally have the excel spreadsheet in a linked database, publish it on a website. On the published (internet) site, I would like to be able to have other family members view and add more information to their profile, add more family members, blog, send me email, chat, so I can update the information I have as the host/moderator.
So now, what software would you recommend to use. Would Microsoft Excel be the one for the spreadsheet database, or just a family tree software? Nothing too pricey though. I need some directions please.
