What do you mean by Family History?
Any recs on dedicated software to chart family history? Or any pre-fab solutions in MS Excel or Visio? There's a MS Excel template from MS, but it's pretty basic, and I was interested in something more robust.

Hi dchs,
Legacy is terrific...I am putting together my great grandfather and his 22 siblings plus all the following generations - and this caters for a large amount of information. If you are after a chart to place the basics on Geno Pro is also good for that.
These are both freeware.Although Legacy also has a pay for software also.
Good luck...Mandy
