Family camcorder - HF-R10 or HDR-CX150

Hello,

I planning to purchase a camera and I am quite confused with the options. Here is my situation:

1. Need a new camcorder
2. I would prefer flash model.
3. It should be able to backup files easily in HD and SD formats.
4. Planning to purchase VRD-MC6 to backup old miniDV tapes.

Looking at reviews I moving towards the Sony CX150 but the cost seems to be high compared to canon models. The advantage is since I am purchasing the MC6 drive, I could then backup my HD recordings directly to a DVD and record SD quality for regular dvd use.

The R10 is much cheaper and had better specs. Sony specs seem to be deceiving in terms of the 1080p but it has bigger CMOS which theoretically should give me better picture.

I could use the MC6 to record R10 SD dvd but then I would need to use the computer to save HD content into a DVD. Not a big deal but something to consider. I am not sure how easy is to transfer AVHCD video from R10 to computer.

Thanks for any advice and please feel free to provide any other options.
