Fake Software Reviews

The software in question:

http://download.cnet.com/JobTabs-Free-Resume-Builder/3000-18484_4-75914596.html

Let's see; 25 5-Star, professionally written reviews that can't speak highly enough of this program, fit enough exclamation points into a given sentence, or denounce thoroughly enough, any other program of the same variety.

Wouldn't you know it; every one of those professionals created their accounts the same day they left their 5-Star review, did nothing else, and never used the site again.

Strange coincidence...

I can see them

Most seem to be from April, 2014 and the usernames seem to end with 2 numbers.

Hi Steven...

I looked again and still only see one review. Are you seeing these in the link given?

Below the first review

Below the first review there is an option you need to click to "see all reviews +"

Yes, most usernames use a similar format to 'FakeName88'

And they're from a year ago

I hate to inform you that this is nothing new. Currently, there's another thread in another forum about Amazon reviews and it's well noted that many seem fake. If you've been around Cnet long enough, you'll also see some games being played by users who act more like shills. They'll strafe a forum once and you'll never hear from them again.

(NT) very obvious aren't they?
