I can't tell if there is a router issue. Since the story only shares one PC, what happens if you connect directly to the cable modem?
Every day when I try to start up my computer, my Linksys Wireless 2.4 router will not initialize, and it is necessary to unplug the power to the unit, wait a few seconds and reapply power to the Linksys router in order to get the router to work. I have checked with my cable provider, and they said the problem is with my router. Does this mean that I should purchase a new router, or is there anything that I can do to get the router to initialize when the computer is started and not need to go through the power down, power up exercise?
