Question

Failed Install

by urchie / January 1, 2015 2:34 AM PST

I had a system crash and had to rebuild my computer. While trying to install the HP software for my printers, Photos mart D5360 and Office jet Pro 8500, I encountered a critical error. The software tried to uninstall the files but that too failed. I have tried several times to reinstall the software but it wants to complete the uninstall which it can't do. It will not allow me to install drives and related software
.
My question is, is there a file or registry entry that I can delete to stop the software from trying to complete the uninstall, and allow me to do a fresh install.
Thanks Peter

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
