I am marketing for this new fashion business - they do small exhibitions now and then. Do not have enough resources to open a store. They do display in some stores.

They want to go online now but personal ecommerce is semi expensive to set up at this stage.

What do you recommend for online shopping - Facebook is up and coming ; any experiences? what are our other options.

I understand your problem and according to your situation I have the solution for you. You create your e-commerce store on https://www.shopify.com/ in which you can create your online store free and after getting profit then you can upgrade it.

I think that something like Facebook, Twitter, etc. can help you. You can make a good promotion through different groups. Of course you should know to which customers you exactly address (your audience). It will make easy to find the correct groups. There are something like 'flea market' groups at Facebook. You can try to start there.

Why don't you pair with Amazon, if it is fashion business definitely this platform will help you a lot. I know some people who got benefitted with Amazon. FB also good, but try all the possibilities to increased the sales.
