Facebook itself says: "Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, post links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet."

I can't tell you much more because I'm not a member, although they keep sending me invitations by a nephew to join.

As Kees says it's a social site. You create a profile, you look for friends by name or email address, and you, uh, well, uh, you . . .

I'm a member. You just sort of visit electronically. You post a comment, upload a picture, whatever, and you wait for your friends to comment, or they upload something, or comment, and you reply.

I've been a member of and on since it started. But beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't watch your profile settings you can be SPAMmed or worse. It's a learning curve.

Is it socially relevant? Maybe. Can it get you in trouble? Possibly. Watch yourself and what you "share".

And no, I will not give you my information.
