I just bought an HP F1905b (December 2005), and it works perfectly with my Mini (June 2005) via the DVI port with the included DVI cable. The Mac automatically recognized it as an HP F1905. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone with a Mac who can't afford one of the Apple displays. It matches the Mac decor well. It's a beautiful monitor, just stunning. The best I've personally ever used (for more than a few minutes at the Apple store :).
Not sure about the F1905 but it should probably work the same.
The difference between the original and the "b" version is that the "b" version has a glossy screen, slightly better specs, and has the DVI cable included in the box.
Is anyone using this monitor with their Mac (specifically a Mac with Mini-DVI connection, OSX. Or, I'd be interested in hearing about use with any Mac in general)?
Have you had any compatibility issues? And how is the performance?
I contacted HP customer support and though the monitor is not officially supported, they said is was compatible.
Any replies appreciated. Thx.
