As long as your software will play the file with the sound streaming on the "line", you can capture it with any number of simple recorders. Windows has a simple one which captures to a wave file. Audacity is freeware (available at download.com) that will capture to wave files, and mp3 file if you download a separate codec.
I have been trying to copy a song from a DVD movie. I have software that will let me rip the disc, which I have done. But I can't get any further. I just haven't been able to get to the audio part of the disc. Or even found the audio tracks. Is this something that can be done or am I wasting my time? Thank you.
