I only find spam replies today in most SEO discussions. If you want to discuss SEO, go to forums that do nothing but.
As to the danger the REAL danger is that SEO rules change as Google changes. And Google does not publish the rules so any "expert" is guessing.
-> My view is to not work SEO but the company site and products. If you are relying on SEO for your sales you are at the mercy of Google.
I have a question, I hope you can help me answer.
I am working for a big web shop, with thousands or product pages. Furthermore, our domain is up and running in 9 different countries, all with a separate domain.
We are currently redesigning our product page, and the UX team would like a link for our .com domain on each new product page.
The link will be pointing to a FAQ page about shipping. So e.g. all product pages on our .dk or .se domain, will have a link pointing to our .com domain.
My question is, should we be aware of any danger when adding a link towards our .com domain on each product page on all 9 sites? This is in terms of SEO best practice.
In the long run, we will have thousands, of thousands of links from our own domains pointing to that specific page.
I am aware, that we can just add a nofollow tag, but is that necessary, and is that actually something we want?
Thanks in advance
