Need to have a long discussion. Cisco VPN work is something my network CCNA and engineers spend a lot of time on. That is, the answer isn't like what you get with a consumer router but something you get back with your CCNA and have them configure then document the work.
Hi All,
I have configured a remote VPN (with a cisco 5505) from my personal laptop (with external ip 1.1.1.1) to my company network (with external ip 2.2.2.2) and it works fine.
In the firewall configuration of a public server, for example 3.3.3.3, I have a rule that permit the traffic from the static company ip (2.2.2.2) to this 3.3.3.3 (via ssh protocol).
I want access from my laptop via ssh, inside VPN tunnel, but my external ip is not 2.2.2.2 but obviously is different (1.1.1.1).
How can I do make it to work?
Can I assign to my laptop the external IP of the gateway VPN (2.2.2.2).
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Danilo
