Question

External HD to stohows up as cd-rom--how to fix?

New iomega external hd shows up as cd-rom in windows and option to format greyed out.
Shows 0-bytes free and should be 500gb.
I can run the encryption software on the hd, but thats all there is and can't drag and drop files because it thinks is cd-rom? Any ideas?

Figured it out...thank you.

<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">I removed the Iomega encryption and virtual cd-rom software and now the disk is recognized correctly. Thank you.
