External HD problem.

by geminisama / July 21, 2007 2:08 AM PDT

Okay, Im running Vista Basic(if that matters), and all of a sudden I have a problem with my SimpleTech External HD. About a week ago, it stopped working. It will load, but then it says it needs to be formated. I try, and it always says "Unable to complete format" then it will close, and mess up the computer. Anyway to fix this? Do I just need to replace the USB cord?

You see people try a new USB case or drive. Which are you going to try?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
