External Hard Drive Accessed?

I think someone at work has accessed my external hard drive but the file dates aren't reflecting that. Is there a way they could have changed the last accessed date on the file? If so, how did they do it? I had the chords wrapped a certain way and were different when I got my hard drive but the date seems to coincide with the my last access. Thanks in advance.

All three date and time stamps can be changed
