My laptop uses the USB Floppy drive. I'm lucky in that its BIOS knows how to boot from such.
Older drives that connect to the parallel port or such should go with the old laptop so that owner doesn't go searching for that.
My previous PC, window 98, had an external floppy drive.I bought new computer with xp.and no internal floppy. I was advised that the external floppy would work on new PC. My problem is the new PC doesnot recognise the external floppy because I need a driver. How to solve this problem please.
