external analog devices

by marla9 / January 18, 2007 5:33 PM PST

I have a new HP desktop. It has a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Sound Card. There is a blue hole "for external analog devices". What is an external analog device? What can I plug into that hole?

Click the proper choices and download the manual. According to the manual the blue connector is analog audio "IN".

Or email me at my CNet profile and I'll send you the manual. Be sure to include your return email address.
