Exterior Light for filming weddings

Oct 2, 2008 10:36AM PDT

Lately I have been filming events as a hobby as I enjoy editing the videos, especially for weddings and other parties. I use a very basic Sony HC minidv camcorder, which is fine for the type of work I am doing for now. My major problem is poor lighting once I get inside. Does anyone have any recommendations on what type of exterior light I can use that will improve the picture quality but not be disturbing to guests?
