Extending Wireless Network Range

by pmooney / November 4, 2003 5:10 AM PST

I currently have a wireless router positioned in one end of my house. However, i need the range increased to reach the other end of my house, hopefully on all 3 floors. Will a wireless range extender do this, or is there another product that will extend the range of my network?

I can place my repeater half way from the new location to the final location. There are many models that do this.

In reply to: repeater

At a store and other places. They cost what they cost.

Why do I write this? I'm not a store and have no idea what city, country you hail from.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
