Question

extending VGA

My first post to this site.
I have a some what unusal situation. I have an all in one pc with no External VGA port, attached to this PC there is a KVM extender, now I need to extend the VGA to yet another place. I have a VGA/Cat 5 extender, I can also hook up a remote monitor from the KVM extender, however the Picture on the remote VGA is off centered and I cannot access the monitors menu functions when it is connected this a way would I be better off using a USB to VGA adapter (note the HDMI port is being used by the KVM extender. I know this is confusing

Since there are extenders out there for VGA

Can you clarify what the issue is?

If it's a product defect, then back to the maker.
If it's a monitor adjustment issue we change monitors.

I read you have an unusual situation but the question isn't clear.
