Express34 card

I want to go with a EVDO card for my new 17 Pro laptop but now Apple has to be so cutting edge that they make a port on their top of the line book that nobody makes anything for ! I love Mac's but it makes me wonder that they got the cart way ahead of the horse on this one !!!

You make it sound like Apple are alone in this choice.

Far from it.

5 Dell Inspiron models, 1 Dell XPS, 2 Sony models, 8 Toshiba model, a ThinkPad and an Acer have all already standardized on the Express slot.
Expect all laptops to follow very quickly.

The fix. Put the EVDO card into an EVDO ROUTER.

That works. Not as nice but a few found it to be a workaround until someone makes the express version.
