Once you have exported all contacts to a csv-file open it in a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc or probably even the spreadsheet from MS Works), delete the lines you don't need and save.
If you've got none of these spreadsheets (and don't want to install even free Open Office) you can do it in Wordpad or Notepad also. But a spreadsheet is a more user-friendly way.

I understand how to export all the contacts from Live Mail as a CSV or VCF file. What I am not able to do, or don't know how to do it, is export only selected contacts or a category.
Also, I am no longer able to right click an email address in 'Windows Live Contacts' and past it into a , for example, spread sheet.
Any thoughts or help on this would be greatly appreciated.
