While it's better to not use IE as much as possible due to spyware and pests, this is your choice since you get to clean it up.

My girlfriend's computer has this message. Explorer has caused an error in KRNL 386EXE. She has Windows ME. How do I get rid of it. I can close it out but it keeps coming back. The system does not seem to load. What do I need to do. Thanks.
