Explorer.exegoes to 100% usage

by viper6ko / July 17, 2006 12:49 PM PDT

Everytime I open MVP baseball 2005 or anyother game, my explorer.exe goes to 100% cpu usage, making it impossible to play the game. This just recently randomly began happening. System Restore wont work, its never worked for me. Also when i open wmv files the cpu jumps to about 60% for the media player application. Ive ran all virus scans in safe mode. Nothing showed up, anyone know wuts up.

No details make this a wild guess but have you scanned with EWIDO and HOUSECALL to toss what they find?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
