the *.dll as indicated by you does not seem to exist.

have a look here

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/index.shtml

I also checked the library at Microsoft and Google and found nothing.

please re-post with additional information.

also indicate your O/S and what the names of the Trojans are that are in your virus vault.

NAME: Swizzor
ALIAS: TrojanDownloader.Win32.Swizzor, TrojanDownloader.Win32.Swizzor.b

The TrojanDownloader.Win32.Swizzor.b is a small program that can come to a user's system when he or she is browsing the WEB. The program downloads and installs a LOP.COM-related plugin that acts as a spyware/adware and provides customized search capabilities.

As downloading and installation happens without a notification to a user and user's approval, we added detection for the downloader as a trojan.

To remove the downloader it's enough to delete its file from a hard drive.

What I would recommend is download, install and update:

Spybot S&D: http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=mirrors

Ad aware: http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

Pls. let us know how it goes.

Kiwi, Can You Tell Us The Exact Path To The File ?
Feb 19, 2004 5:10AM PST

A number of viruses and spyware will create .dll files with abstract names. Please click on Start-Search-Files or Folders, then type in the name of the file in question. Make sure that the Windows Explorer settings are set to show "All Files". When the file is found, please tells us the exact file path. For example: "C\Windows\System\RESJAA.DLL" or something similar.

Hope this helps and let us know.

Hi there, I ran a search on all files and folders with advanced options for this resjaa.dll. file and the response was: Search is complete. There are no results to display. this was run on all 3 h/d's. It makes me feel like I'm seeing things but it's here alrighty! Happy It also causes my sites to freeze up if I try and access the likes of TradeMe (New Zealand equivalent to Ebay) My computer also has no response to Ctrl-Alt-Del to close down the frozen sites and a restart brings up a white screen the only way back or out is via the reset button (this goes for shut down as well) I am currently downloading the ad-aware and search & destroy offered as well. Thanks for all your help thus far guys its very appreciated.

Hi there Happy Same news Im afraid the dreaded box remains. I ran spybot and had the following:
Reg Val: People on page Apropos Media
Reg Key: People on page Apropos Media
both were fixed by spybot.
Then I ran Ad-aware and had the following:
Registry Keys: 9
Files Identified: 26
Folders: 1
these were quarentined, and after a restart the box re-appeared Sad I am still unable to access a lot of sites my pages freeze up when I do try and access one and the only way out is by resetting my computer (which is not good), I cannot access any systems tools whatsoever, nor do a system restore as windows close immediately, so I'm not making headway as yet ... Many thanks for your thoughts and help so far. Happy
