One model has and the other does not have "Zone B HDMI and RS-232C interface for custom installation."

It looks to be that simple. One thing is not like the another. Something is not quite the same.

Actually, just the RS-232C alone could justify it.

It moves the unit from a consumer line item to a pro system suitable for installation with a central command console.

The only differences I could find are the RX-A810 has;
