Explain the Construct, Rules + Implementation of Javascript?

by JayLakhani / May 26, 2015 1:29 AM PDT

Hi there

I have a school project, which was to create a Website and then answer the questions, one of which I am stuck with. I have already created the website btw.

The question is "Explain the fundamentals of JavaScript (the Construct, Rules, and Implementation)"

I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me with this. Also, I do know the basics of Javascript as well (eg box model, the implemenation styles and writing html).

Thanks very much!

Clarification Request
Since it's for school...

I'd google that question. It might require a few more courses in compiler design for a deep understanding.

Explain the fundamentals of JavaScript

I have googled that question many a time but there is nothing too helpful. Also, I do know a bit about what I am asking so I'm not trying to get others to do it for me! And I really have tried to understand and complete it. Its just hard to explain and word...

I googled it and found a lot of good information.

But I'm a programmer, electronics designer so the pages contain information that I understand.

The other issue is that your question is very broad. For example, implementation of JavaScript (JS) would detail compiler or a just in time compiler that is integrated with some browser. Compiler design courses were at my time some 2 to 4 semesters so you can see that no one would be able to condense this into text for this small space.

The syntax of JS is on the web, and in books. Syntax is the rule or rules of the JS code.

I would be guessing why anyone would want you to duplicate this information. Maybe you need to chat with the prof what they really wanted you to answer.
