I sent in my phone to be repaired and I did get a signature confirmation... after about a month I called to check on the status of the phone and the associate told me she couldn't locate it at that time and to call back later. I did and spoke to another csr and he told me HE'd look into it... I called back about 8 more times and at this point I was certain they had lost the phone. I finaly asked to speak to a supervisor and and he told me to provide proof that I did indeed send in the phone. Since none of the many previous employees had asked me for the signature confirmation receipt I didn't think I needed it and had thrown it away. I called yet again to try one more time... the csr told me he'd call me back if he finds out anything it's been a week since then and about 6 weeks in total since this whole thing begun. [their turn-around time for repair is supposedly 15 days] I'm now trying to file a claim with the post office. By the way its the Nokia 6170 and it stopped working after a week of purchase.
I sent my phone in for repair, and didn't realize 'til it was too late that the repair form recommended sending the phone with "signature release", meaning that someone has to sign for it to confirm they received it...
Has anyone had a dishonest experience with them yet? I called my service provider and added insurance to my plan just in case... but I was hoping that the repair center wouldn't stoop that low.
I checked them out on the BBB.org website, and they have an 'unsatisfactory' record due to consumer complaints, but I can't find a way to see WHAT those complaints are...
Thanks!
