Expanding home network

Dec 27, 2009 2:03AM PST

I want to connect an upstairs BR HDTV to the internet. I have a broadband wireless router (desktop connected hardwired, two laptops wirelessly). The wireless range is a little weak upstairs.
How can I connect the HDTV (hardwired) to my router that is downstairs and at the opposite end of the house?
Should i rebuild/restation network and run Cat5e or is there a simplier option?
Thanks!
