Exiting from "AUDIO ONLY" mode on Sharp Aquos...HELP!

i just put together a sharp aquos (one I've put together before on a previous purchase and worked fine). and I only get audio - I noticed that theres an "AUDIO ONLY" mode - I might be in it...but how the heck do I get out of it if I can't see the menu options at all?????

crap, i think it's a dud...

i get audio on the input channels, but not any video - I can't even bring up menu controls.

anyone know of any good Sharp Aquos service centers in the Dallas area? I think I'm just going to return it and ask for another one.

I guess this is a new t.v. ? Ok stop get the phone book and look under t.v. factory warrenty service centers give them a ding aling and ask what brand they do warrenty repaires on. Then if you can exchange your t.v. get one that can be repaired locally Most warrenty service do not touch off brand sets so make sure good luck to you and please post back if this helps stewe

exchange it for another one. I've got ~20days to return the set, but I'd like to have a fully functioning TV before then.

I'll probably just end up returning it - I've heard many repair shops take forever to get to work on it and otherwise it's a nightmare.

wow! quick service and problem fixed!

first thing this morning I called sharp, they gave me a dispatch ticket # for the local shop and asked me to call back when the Sharp cust service can tend to that (just ~30 min later). I did, they identified a local repair shop and make the arrangements. I got a call later that morning to set-up an at-home service appt. and i requested ASAP. they had an opening this afternoon - so I took it.

problem solved - it was a loose video cable that must've gotten loose during shipping - some thing the first cust. service guy on the phone suggested was the issue. I've enjoyed 2 movies with my tv and oppo upconverting dvd player already!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
