Not enough information.

I assume stripes on LCD.

Vertical or Horizontal?

Does it occur on pictures already captured or when viewing while taking photos?

Did it just start?

Better description of the stripes?

Can you see part of the picture?

Describe blurry?

If it is a new camera, take a good look at the front of the lens (glass).
If you see smudges, finger prints, dirt - clean the lens.

Casio Z57

The Z57 was introduced in Feb of 2005.

If your prerecorded photos look OK on the LCD and only the new photos have the problem, the most likely cause is the CCD sensor.

When a sensor starts to go bad, it can cause a banding, color changes, and color runs, or just a blank picture.

There is nothing you can do to fix the problem.
It requires replacement of the CCD sensor.
The cost is likely over $100, so you may want to think about a new camera.

There is a possibility that you have accidental set some option that is causing a problem. Look in the User Guide and you should find something about a camera reset.

When you do a camera Reset, it restores the camera to Factory settings.

In the preview mode it's a fraction of the pixels used in the sensor and the LCD is not showing you all the pixels of the image sensor. Take a snap and then the problems are revealed.

I fear repair will exceed replacement cost.
