Question

Exel page footer sequence &[Page

Oct 1, 2015 10:41AM PDT

From print proerties if I want to add page footer..as such (&[Page) ...
it adds sequentially a litle red number on bottom right of the page. This works fine
I wish to break the sequence at one point to include .5
example
1
2
3
4.5
5
6

Is it possible or I need to manually place it one page at a time?
thanks

Answer
For such work, I edit it manually and get it done.

In a similar case I printed pages 1,2,3,5,6 then edited it to have the .5 and printed page 4.

When an office mate wondered how I did this, they lost days trying to duplicate it.

I'd say 4.5 isn't a valid pagenumber, so I think Excel won't generate it.

What you can do: print to pdf or xps and change it using your favorite pdf- or xps-editor in the output.
