Question

Exchange server 2013 store

Sep 11, 2016 6:08AM PDT

Hello!
I'm having some difficulties with my mailbox on the Exchange server 2013 version 15.0.
Here is a summary of what I wanted to do, and a brief description of the problem:
The server has 2 stores with mailboxes.
For example, let's call store 1 and store 2.
Store 1 has about 80 mailboxes and store 2 about 20 mailboxes. I'm trying to move 20 mailboxes from store 2 to store 1. I use the Mailbox Move Wizard to accomplish this task. In the process, it is interrupted halfway, and the number of corrupted items was exceeded the limit of 100 corrupted items.
I tried to run an off-line defragmentation, but it got to 1% and stopped. Is there a way for me to do recovery for exchange server corrupted items on the edb level?

1. Make a copy.
2. Try whatever you want on the copy.
3. If no luck, call Microsoft for help.
4. If still no luck, back to the latest backup befofe the backup from #1.

Three tips:\ for the future:
1. Never interrupt such operations. What happened?
2. Make a backup before such operations. Did you forget?
3. Don't fall for any Exchange recovery spam that might appear in this thread.

You will need to dismount the store with the corrupted mailboxes in then run eseutil /p followed by eseutil /d and then isinteg to rectify the problems.

For reference - here is a good article on ESEUTIL and ISINTEG. If you get stuck running these commands please ask for more guidance. http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Exchange-ISINTEG-ESEUTIL.html
