When you create a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel you need to "Save as", a file, with your own choice of file name, before you close Excel down.
Did you do that?
If you closed Excel down without saving the spreadsheet as a file, then I fear the spreadsheet you created is lost.
I did a report in Excel. It won't let me send the report as an attachment. Now I can't get the report to open. Is it still there? Thanks, Pat I have Vista
