Question

Ex finds everything I post and do on the internet

Sep 21, 2017 11:34AM PDT

She never had access to my computer (asus chromebook) so I doubt it's a keylogger. But she finds everything I have posted on sites like craigslist, meetup, facebook, and Yahoo before I started using a sign in procedure that sends a code to my cellphone. I have changed my passwords numerous time but she always finds my comments and posts and activity. How can she do this and what can I do to prevent it?

Answer
Since you post in public places, nothing sounds wrong.

You use sites that identify you as you and even notify others you posted.

The only way to stop everyone from reading your posts is to stop posting. Some folk don't get it and think they are infected with a keylogger. I doubt it given your story.

Answer
Create New IDs / New Accounts On Those Websites

You might consider creating new accounts on all those websites. Be sure to register with a completely different username which have never used before. Set up privacy and security before you begin posting.

Leave the old accounts idle and maybe delete them after 90 days if all goes well.

Be careful who you tell or invite on your new website accounts. It's possible one of your friends is telling your ex what you're up to. Does anyone besides you have access to your computer or phone?

It's an interesting problem. Let us know here how you resolve it!
