Ewido 4.0

Jul 31, 2006 12:21PM PDT

Recently I upgraded Ewido from 3.5 to 4.0 on my HP laptop and my Gateway desktop. No problems whatsoever. Then I tried to upgrade to 4.0 on my Toshiba laptop and for some reason it takes away the arrow in the system tray. What's up with that??? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Help, please. Toshiba M-55 Pentium M 750 with XP SP2.

Try this...

I'm assuming you're referring to the leftwards-pointing arrow for expanding the system tray. My first suggestion may be a bit basic, but right-click the task bar, select properties, then uncheck, apply, recheck, OK the "hide inactive icons" option. If it's just a minor glitch that should fix it right up.

Hope this helps,
John

Well, I decided to reinstall it again tonight and the arrow stayed there this time. Maybe it was a glitch. But I will keep your tip in mind for the future. Thanks John.
