Evil Twins!!!

While both technolgies have their merit both can survive. We have many different types of technolgy now in the DVD world, ( DVD-R, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD+R).
Most DVD Player/Burners support all these formats now, so why couldn't future burners support two new formats. More an more we see burgening technolgies sharing the spotlight if they do the same job.

Besides for one company to beat out the other these days, it's about advertising and customer support. As far as Sony vs. Toshiba goes both can dump 10's of millions of dollars in to thier product.

Who will win? The consumer! Cuz we get new toys to play with!!!
