I have an electronic viewfinder on my Kodak DX6490 and find it nice but didn't like that it blacks out after a take a shot. I end up using both eyes to watch and move the camera for the next shot.

Just my opinion, but a optical veiwfinder with some heads-up type overlay would be far superior unless your model would not black out like mine.

Get a demo of the Kodak DX7440 and DX7490s.

Bob

PS. Other than that, I'm satisfied with my DX6490 at the price I paid.

Cannot recommend a camera unless we know the price range.

Digital cameras run from $150 to $4,000+

I suggest you go to:

Fill in the data to match your desires and see what is available.

Thanks...I'll check the link you gave. I'm looking to spend around $400 on a better than point and shoot.

For that price range you can start looking with the Konica-Minolta Z2.

It was selling for $450, but with the introduction of the Z3 the Z2 price should have gone down.
