Bob, I will try to provide more Infomation. There are now two services that I am getting "This service cannot be started because it is not installed", crd and computer browser. System is MSI 6378 with 1.6 AMD XP Athlon + 1900,Nvidia GeForce2 MX 100/200, 384 SDram (soon to be 1024). Have the following programs installed; Windows XP Pro w/SP2RC2, eTrust EZ Armor Antivirus/Firewall, MSN9, NetFrame 2 beta, Windows Media Player 10.0 beta, Microsoft Word 2002, Money 2004, Works 7.0, Microsoft Streets & Trips 2002, Encarta Reference Library 2004, Adaware, SpyBot, Spyware Blaster,Spywareguard, Stinger,CWShredder, Hijack this. All Updates and Patches arw install. All drivers are upto date and there is no spyware. I just did a comple reformat and clean Install and do not plan to add any other programs until I get this problem fixed. Over all System is running good except as mentioned. This Problems showup along with alot of TrueVector Errors in Applications with or without betas. Any suggestions would be greatly apppreciated.

You need to get ZoneLabs to support that issue.

As to CRD, it's time to disable that service and see how things turn out.

One of the pitfalls that many fall into and there isn't much help is that some will strive to tune XP to have no errors in the Event Viewer. Sadly, Microsoft doesn't always help with this.

Let me turn this around. What issue is this causing that needs fixing? If none, then we must stop.

Bob

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
