But first, before you complain that you can't read the links there without joining, the Q-numbers can be looked up at http://support.microsoft.com so those are readable.

I'd use SYSTEM RESTORE before the issue but ONLY IF YOUR MACHINE HAS A DISCERNABLE PROBLEM. A few have posted EventID items, but never can show/tell what's failing besides an EventID entry. Another group of posters used the Black Viper suggestions and that created the issue. Fix? Go back a few steps.
